class=\"wp-image-1696\"\/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Back in May, when Chaim and I sat down to begin thinking<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">about Zeesy\u2019s Bas Mitzvah, we wanted it to reflect who Zeesy<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">is. Zeesy is that girl who from an incredibly early age loved art,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">coloring, painting; she has a creative soul that makes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">everything around her more bright, more picturesque, more<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">vivid. So, we decided on Zeesy\u2019s Garden as the theme for this<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Simcha, to bring us all together to celebrate Zeesy\u2019s<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">appreciation for the Garden of Life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">You see, Zeesy entered the world back in 2010. From day one<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">she was unique in her development, her cognition, her way of<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">learning. Yet, Zeesy, through incredible work and determination<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">has not only made lemonade out of lemons, but has shown us<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">that lemons are a beautiful, tasteful, mouthwatering fruit that<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">adds so much flavor and pleasure to the simplicity and<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">monotony of life. Zeesy doesn\u2019t spend her days bemoaning her<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">lot in life, focusing on the fact that she may be different, quite<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">the contrary, she lives it up, celebrating each day, each<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">moment, each human interaction, each teacher, each<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">classmate, each life experience, as something positive,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">inspiring, delightful, and upbeat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Every flower in a garden is special. It grows in a unique style, it<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">is nurtured and watered according to its needs, its<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">colors are distinctive; each flower adds so much to the garden<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">of life. Years ago, we took Chaya and Zeesy to Butchart<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Gardens in Victoria, on Vancouver Island. It was mind blowing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">So warm, so attractive, so colorful, it wasn\u2019t world renowned<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">because all the flowers looked the same and were alike, what<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">made it special was the diversity of flowers, each embedded<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">with a G-d spark that made it stand out to be a gorgeous<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">creation in its own right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Zeesy is the queen of our community garden because she lives<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">life with the attitude of appreciating each moment as a special<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">flower. Sure, she has her moments with siblings and friends,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">not every day is easy and smooth sailing, but you got to see<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Zeesy about 15 minutes after waking up each morning: She<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">thanks G-d for life, washes Negel Vasser, which is the<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">traditional purification of hands, she drinks her special<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">breakfast shake, gets her meds, and before you know it, she\u2019s<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">bouncing toward the door to have another awesome day at<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">school. Today is music, today is library, today is therapy before<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">school with Hannah, today I have Hebrew learning with Zissel,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">today I am going to have a call with Shana. She is a breath of<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">fresh air: she is a beacon of optimism and positivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Our dear Rebbe of blessed memory, even well into his ninth<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">decade, would stand each Sunday giving out dollars to<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">encourage charity and kindness. Some Sundays he would stand<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">for as long as eight hours without interruption. Once, an elderly<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">woman could not contain herself and burst out \u201cRebbe, How<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">do you do it How is it that you do not tire?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">The Rebbe smiled and replied: \u201cEvery soul is a diamond. Can<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">one grow tired of counting diamonds?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Zeesy epitomizes this concept. Always seeing others as sparking<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">gems, with the most positive of outlooks. She sees everyone as<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">amazing and delightful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">I hope that when I grow up, I can be like Zeesy too\u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">I wish Zeesy a hearty Mazal Tova and bless her <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">with all our Rebbe\u2019s Brachos that G-d grant her all that her heart <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">desires to continue being blooming flower to our Bozeman community and way beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">May you have the inner strength to teach the world <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">that challenges aren\u2019t an excuse for a lazy or boring life, but one <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">that inspires us to greater heights and to change the world for the better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"1150\" src=\"https:\/\/mud.webromancy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/BWCOMBO12-1200x1150.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1699\"\/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Back in May, when Chaim and I sat down to begin thinking about Zeesy\u2019s Bas Mitzvah, we wanted it to reflect who Zeesy is.
