Menny who lights up every room that he walks into, Menny who can dance anyone under the table, Menny who is sensitive to a fault. He struggles with impulse control, he struggles with anger, he struggles with violence.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have been managing these challenges for a while but unfortunately, it\u2019s not under control. Things are getting worse, not better. We have an amazing team in Bozeman who have been working tirelessly to unlock the code that is Menny.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We were stuck and out of tools. It became clear it was time to take our doctors\u2019 advice and get serious about the next step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next step brings us to this moment, as I\u2019m sitting in the airport, awaiting my flight back to Bozeman, having done the most painful and traumatizing thing I\u2019ve ever had to do.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We enrolled Menny in a very special program that will hopefully evaluate, strategize, problem solve and get to the source of Menny\u2019s behavior issues. This will hopefully allow us to gain a better understanding of our sweet boy, so we can help and provide him the tools he needs for success.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tears are pouring from my eyes as the only image I see in my head is five compassionate people taking Menny from me.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, this is what he needs, yes I\u2019m an active participant, but the pain and the hurt as he looks at me saying \u201cdon\u2019t leave me here\u201d\u2026 is just too much to bear.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-layout-2 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-layout-1 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mud.webromancy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image1-1.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1072\" width=\"900\" height=\"1200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mud.webromancy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image1-1.jpeg 900w, https:\/\/mud.webromancy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image1-1-225x300.jpeg 225w, https:\/\/mud.webromancy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image1-1-768x1024.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Yet, we do it, we do it out of love though it feels so cruel. How I will live with myself for the coming weeks only G-d knows. But I do know deep down that I\u2019m doing the right thing. (even though it took every ounce of strength I have not to take him with me and run). And maybe even one day he will forgive me (not counting on it anytime soon).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m sure so many of you are thinking how this could be, this is not the Menny we see and know. I want to tell you that the Menny you see on social media is the real Menny, it\u2019s just not all of Menny.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am very intentional with why I am sharing Menny\u2019s journey on such a public space.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I want Menny to know that there is nothing about himself that he should be ashamed of.
